Enrollment Process

General Guidelines

- The Lawson Academy serves Middle School students grades 6-8.  We also have a pre-k 3 and pre-k 4 program that you can learn  more about here.
- We are an open-enrollment public charter school with no academic admissions requirements and no tuition required.
- Students must live in Harris County to enroll.

How do I apply?

- Step 1: Fill out our online interest application
- Step 2: Complete the registration process. We have a team of experts that can help you with any questions you might have! We offer bilingual support to spanish-speaking families as well.
- Step 3: Provide necessary documents like birth certificate, vaccination records, and proof of residence.‍
- When enrolling a child, schools must accept a variety of documents from the student’s parent or guardian to demonstrate proof of the child’s age or residency. You never have to provide information about citizenship/immigration status to have your child enrolled in school. Also, you never have to provide a social security number to have your child enrolled in school.
- Step 4: Once your application has been accepted, your child can start! Parents will get details on uniforms, supplies, and schedule.
