Parents decide whether to have students remain at home or return to campus
Technology remains available for all students
Meals are available for on campus learners
or may be picked up five days weekly from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Transportation will be available on first come, first served basis

The Lawson Academy middle school serves students from many different school districts, including Houston ISD, Fort Bend ISD and others. Our student body comprises a diverse group of young people who have one thing in common: the desire to obtain an education which will prepare them for success in high school. Our administration, faculty, staff, and governing board work together to provide a structured school environment that encourages student success and focuses on STEM skills.

Access for all!

The Lawson Academy students are participating in summer learning. Classes in core content plus free MYON books. We provided laptops to 100%of students (who needed them) and delivered online learning throughout the COVID-19 pandemic!

Information for Students

Every student at The Lawson Academy has one job: learn. Learn all they can. Get excited about learning. Learn for the rest of their lives.

One way to support all this learning is to make learning fun! Using creative expression, field experiences, problem based learning. If you only have one job, it’s important that you love it.

Academy enrichment programming include Athletics, Cheerleaders, Drumline, JROTC, Majorettes, Mentoring, Performing Arts, Robotics and Service Projects.

The Lawson Academy middle school serves students from many different school The Lawson Academy partners with Parents to assure student success. Parents are welcome to the campus every day of the year. With access to the Parent Portal, parents are encouraged to view student grades and attendance data.

With monthly Parent Engagement Meetings each third Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and monthly newsletters, parents get and give information to strengthen the school and its students.
