Students at The Lawson Academy are actively learning every day. Computers come on at 7:15 (some early-risers are logging on at 7) and we see students learning in their bedrooms, dens, kitchens, dining rooms and all over! Starting each session with a “check-in” using the game-oriented Nearpod, students are invited to participate in active learning exercises that keep them alert and engaged. Calisthenics, led by our PE teachers, get students up and active to start their day. In this new normal, learning is central to our students’ success. Every day counts for our students.
