The Lawson Academy provides critical information to all parents responsive to Senate Bill 139 of the 86th Texas Legislature. More information about Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Dyslexia, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is available on the TEA website. Parents whose children may have been previously delayed or denied an evaluation under the IDEA in requesting compensatory services for their child will benefit from the materials available here in English and Spanish. Copies of all documentation is available upon request at the campus (Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 3:30 pm).
