Happy New Year from the Edgenuity department at the Lawson Academy. Hopefully, you have had a restful and enjoyable winter break. As we begin the second half of our school year, the Edgenuity team would, first, like to welcome those students who have newly joined us for in-person learning. Please know that we will continue to practice safe habits to keep everyone safe while on campus. Second, we would like to encourage students to gear up for the second half of our school year. Hopefully, students were able to get some rest during the break and are now ready to put in the work to finish the year strong. Students will need to continue working on their Edgenuity Reading and Math lessons. The 6th graders will start Basic Math B and continue to work on Basic Reading A. The 7th and 8th graders will continue to work on their Intermediate Math A and Intermediate Reading A courses. We will also begin working with students in small groups to help them be successful in Reading and Math. We are determined to make this happen. So, welcome to the New Year — new year, new determination.
