This week, the 7th and 8th grade Intervention classes began their several weeks journey through “Percent Land”. Currently, students should be finishing up their Edgenuity lesson, “Introduction to Percent”. To keep up with the class, students should make sure this lesson is complete before the weekend is over. Next week, we plan to continue our journey with “Finding Percent of a Number”. Please check in with your child to make sure he/she is completing the Edgenuity lessons. If students need additional help with learning about Percentages, an excellent additional resource is the Math-Antics video collection on YouTube. “What’s a Percentage” would be a great place to start.
